In this 11-week course for women, Mollie is honored to guide you through all this and more: What/who are the goddesses of the Yogic tradition, what is their history, how do they relate to our daily life, and how do we work with them as archetypes to invoke transformation in our own lives? This is not a surface-level course with a few stories and some yoga poses... this is a deep dive into using the goddesses for vehicles of transformation, from the inside out. You'll walk away with a deep appreciation for the feminine, and as always, you take with you what resonates, and let go of what does not.
So many questions — and tons of time to dive in! Coursework is all online, self-paced. Our text for the course is Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton.
Each week, you can dive into a new Sadhana (practice), recorded meditations, alongside a bite-size Satsang (wisdom talk) from Mollie + a workshop of inquiry questions will drop into our online platform, Yoga Hive Connect. You'll be able to access these teachings from wherever you are, and work through them at your own pace. Buying the book (or audible version) is optional, but highly recommended to immerse yourself in the teachings.
You'll gain lifetime access to this course and the materials, so if you can't commit to each week, you'll be able to work through it at your own pace! Need accountability? 12 Weekly Satsangs (Wisdom Talks): You’ll get 12 lessons with Mollie as she breaks down the primary message behind each Goddess discussed in Awakening Shakti, along with her perspective on how we — in today's world — can apply these teachings to our lives, and work with our own divine feminine energy. We call them "weekly" lessons, but of course, you can stretch it to 12 months, or 12 years, if you wish!
12 Sadhanas (Yoga Practices): Because each week features a unique Goddess, you'll get 12 totally unique, easily digestible, yet powerful himalayan kriya yoga sadhanas — one per week — taught by yours truly, customized to flow with the goddess of the week. The teachings may include Kriya, Breathwork, Asana, Mantra and Mudras, and expect to spend 20-30 minutes practicing per week. You can use the weekly recording to practice daily, for the greatest possible results!
12 Kriya Meditations: To dive even deeper beyond the yoga sadhana, I've included the opportunity to use some longer kriyas to access deeper states of integration and alignment with each goddess' energy.
12 Weeks of Inquiry Questions: Teachings are only truly integrated if we bring them into our daily life... and although our weekly yoga practice will be a good compliment, these exercises have been designed to get you thinking, journaling, writing, and taking action in your life — and learning by doing along the way.
12 Bhakti Practices (supportive mantras + mudras): Honestly, the best way I've learned Sanskrit is from teachers who are willing to chant for me, and then I repeat the heck of the mantra in my head until it sticks! When we use mantras over and over and over (often using a mala), we fill in the gaps of our life, and we infuse our subconscious mind with productive, life-affirming vibrations... slowly our destructive thoughts fall to the wayside. Each week, you'll get a new mantra, spoken by me so you can hear it and chant it for yourself, and you have the option of using it as a japa practice as often as you like — or using it with a mudra (hand gesture) that's supportive to the mantra.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it last? 12 weeks. Awakening Shakti features 12 goddesses, and because there's so much juicy content within each one, we will to spend a week studying each one. You can budget about 60 to 90 minutes of time each week between the wisdom talk, exercises, and yoga/meditation practices, to truly feel like you're getting the most out of this course. That's 10-15 minutes per day.
If I'm a registered yoga teacher, can I get continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance for this course? Yes! This course is worth 20 hours.
What’s the format? The entire course will be pre-recorded, released week by week on the Yoga Hive Connect Mighty Network platform, so you work through it at your own pace. We’ll have our own private group on the network to share stories, ask questions — it’s like Facebook group without all the baggage of Facebook.
What is our Soulful Sadhana textbook? Each month, our Soulful Sadhana typically has a recommended “textbook." This round, we’ll read (you guessed it!) Awakening Shakti, by Sally Kempton.
