This is your chance to dive in to the chakra system and integrate what you learn through practice on your mat. I'll take you through each one, step by step and explain it from a yogic philosophy perspective, and my personal practice with each one. We'll also lean on Caroline Shola Arewa's incredible knowledge for understanding the rich history of the chakras through the lens of both yoga from India and ancient Africa. We'll also weave in wisdom from Caroline Myss to anchor our understanding of the Chakras from a medical perspective, and — if it feels relevant to you — find evidence of these energetic centers in both Christian and Jewish stories and scriptures.
There are no prerequisite set of beliefs to take this course — show up as exactly who you are, take what resonates, and let go of what doesn't!
Soulful Sadhana is a unique program developed by me (Mollie Busby) to keep the yogic teachings, rituals, and a daily practice at the forefront of your life. Each week for seven weeks, you will dive into a new batch of yogic teachings and chakra wisdom.
Here's what you get:
8 Chakra Satsangs (Wisdom Talks): You’ll get seven lessons — one about each chakra, as well as an introduction to the Chakras being recorded live on Zoom on October 9th, 2022. (If you sign up before then, you'll get an invite to the meeting!) These satsangs are also where I'll include my perspective on our textbooks of the month, and how I'm integrating their thoughts into my own life. We'll cover chakra basics like color, age cycles, and evidence of balance or imbalance... and then we're also going deep into planetary wisdom, body health, spiritual practices and goddess work, and more. My aim is for these to be the deepest dive you've taken yet into these ancient centers of wisdom!
7 Yoga Classes: You'll get 7 (total) customized Himalayan Kriya Yoga classes — one per week — taught by yours truly, customized to flow with one of the 7 chakras. They will include Kriya, Breathwork, Asana, Mantra and Mudras. You can use the recording to practice daily, for the greatest possible results!
7 Bhakti Practices: Each week, I’ll offer a mudra and a bija (seed) sound mantra that you can utilize to optimize and sync your internal energy rhythms with the chakra of the week — tapping into devotion within your heart.
1 Chakra Balancing Meditation: I'll be teaching this meditation on October 9th, but as stated, it will be recorded and uploaded for use whenever you wish!

Who is this program for? You! In all seriousness, this program was created through my lens as a woman. No yoga or mindfulness experience is necessary… and while there will be some talk of menstrual cycles and hormones, the practices I teach are applicable to all. If you’re called to participate, join us.
If I'm a registered yoga teacher, can I get continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance for this course? Yes! This course is worth 10 hours.
How long will it last? 7 weeks. You can budget about 60 to 90 minutes of time each week between the wisdom talk, exercises, and yoga/meditation practices, to truly feel like you're getting the most out of this course. That's 10-15 minutes per day.
What’s the format? The entire course will be pre-recorded, released week by week on the Yoga Hive Connect Mighty Network platform, so you work through it at your own pace. We’ll have our own private group on the network to share stories, ask questions — it’s like Facebook group without all the baggage of Facebook.
What is our Soulful Sadhana textbook? Each month, our Soulful Sadhana typically has a recommended “textbook." This round, we’re working with Caroline Shola Arewa's Opening the Spirit. We'll also weave in wisdom from Caroline Myss' Anatomy of the Spirit. You can take Soulful Sadhana without buying the books — we just recommend having them if you want further study. *Books are not included in the price of the course!*
