Mollie's teaching style is vinyasa-based, focused on helping yogis of all abilities have an inspiring and fulfilling experience of both yoga and meditation. Mollie's classes have a distinctly playful, yet powerful energy — combining her certification to teach both Energy Medicine Yoga based on the work of Montana-native Lauren Walker and Donna Eden, and Sattva Yoga of the Himalayan Tantric tradition under Spiritual Master, Anand Mehrotra. Her power vinyasa roots come from her best friend, Brittany Hopkins of Container Collective Yoga in Lakewood Colorado (a Baptiste Yoga Affiliate Studio). Other influences come from her training in Art of Assisting through the Baptiste Institute, Unnata Aerial Yoga, Kids Yoga, her 200-hour YTT through Figure Yoga in Colorado, as well as Yoga Anatomy training through Leslie Kaminoff and Amy Matthews.
Practice with me in person at Yoga Hive Montana — studios in Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Kalispell Montana! Below is my current schedule. Although it changes week by week depending on subbing needs while in town, I hope to see you on your mat, in the silks or on the water for paddleboard yoga in the summertime!
It is both a joy, and an honor to lead 200-hour yoga teacher trainings. Since I was 16 years old (and an Art Director at summer camp!) I’ve been facilitating transformation in the classroom, while backpacking/canoeing the wilderness, and on high/low ropes courses, empowering others to become bigger, brighter versions of themselves. My work at Yoga Hive Studios is yet another extension of that, and as a company, it is experiencing the same transformation, as it gets bigger and brighter ✨ YHS embodies everything I am, and everything I hope for the world + all the tradition and philosophy I, and my co-facilitators live by, wrapped up with the inspiring teachings I learned from my own teachers — at summer camp, in my network of yogi friends and peers, and from trainings I’ve taken in the past. I have deep gratitude for all the yoginis who have trusted us to facilitate their yoga training in Montana, Colorado and beyond, and I honor all the yogis and yoginis yet to come on this journey with us.
